- Choose username and password which are difficult to be predicted by others.
- Do not link your password with any of your personal things such as birthdays, names, telephone numbers, or other known words or familiar numbers. Chose password which consists of special letters and digits.
- Change the password periodically.
- Keep your personal and/or banking information (such as the username, password, credit card No., … etc) secret. Keep the password/PIN and do not record them in any unsafe place.
- Be sure to get updated trustworthy software to avoid harmful and damaging programs on your own sets which you use to enter to the banking services on internet such as banking internet.
- Avoid entry to banking services on internet through internet cafés or public places.
- Be careful when receiving any e-mail or contact from the bank requesting to disclose any of your personal details or card number. Al Baraka Bank Syria does not request any personal and/or banking information (such as username, password, credit card No., etc) via e-mail or telephone. If you receive such request, please do not answer it and notify us as soon as possible.
- When you enter banking service on internet such as banking internet, make sure of date and time of the last entry.
- Always remember to logout through pressing "log out" and do not leave the device without control before logging out from the account.
- Check your account balances and data periodically to make sure that no one has entered them and to discover any abnormal transactions. If you want to be notified with any transaction occurs to your account/credit card, you can register in our banking service via (SMS banking).
- Be careful of electronic messages which offer you to obtain money easily against offering services and/or using your account to transfer big amount of money. Always deal with companies/ individuals whom you know well and trust them.
